At the December 10th Town Council meeting, Council voted unanimously to continue the public hearing (A text amendment to the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to update the regulatory flood protection elevation and increase the freeboard requirement from 1 to 2 ft and expand floodplain regulations into the 500-year flood zone, Land Development Standards sections 4.4.2, 12.3, and 17.5) to the regular scheduled meeting on January 14th at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville.
