Camps (for youth)

After School Program

• Registration is at the Waynesville Recreation Center's front desk for children K-8 starting Jan 6th, 2025.
• Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm. 3:00 - 3:30 arrival, 3:30 - 4:00 snack time, 4:00 - 5:00 homework heroes and educational games, 5:00 - 6:00 gym/play time and more.
• Costs: Residents: $50 per week ($10 additional child), Non-residents: $50 per week ($10 additional child).

Summer Basecamp

• Informational meetings will be held on February 17th - 21st at 6pm at the Waynesville Rec Center's Multipurpose Room(s). This is a great opportunity to find out more information for your upcoming summer plans!

• For more information regarding snow day camps, teacher work day camps, and other camp opportunities, please visit our Facebook page for immediate updates.
• We want to provide as many opportunities to families, community members, and children as possible but if the weather is too risky for families, staff, and community members, camps will not occur on these days.
• We are always open to feedback, recommendations, and community involvement so please reach out if you would like to get involved!
